Therapy in St. Catharines, ON and the Niagara Region
So you’re a mom and you feel like your past identity is missing?
No one warned you that when you become a mom your time is not your time anymore. It's theirs, and while you love your kids, still you feel like you miss that old part of you that wants to thrive in her career, and the guilt of your multitasking mom life is starting to drown you.
Welcome to your safe space
I’m Sarah Hope - Therapist for high-achieving moms and women
I’m a trauma-trained, certified counsellor with over 20 years of experience. My passion is helping women break free from burnout, guilt, and anxiety to reclaim their calm and confidence. I firmly believe that every mom deserves to feel empowered and deeply connected to her kids, her career, and herself without sacrificing her well-being in the process.
I started this journey because I know firsthand how heavy life can feel when you’re trying to do it all. As a single mom who’s juggled career success with raising two kids, I’ve walked in your shoes and found a way through.
Fun fact: I’ve helped hundreds of women rewrite their stories, and when I’m not in session, you might find me sneaking in a dance party with my daughters or baking a sweet treat. Together, we’ll create a life that feels aligned, joyful, and unapologetically you.
I get it I felt the same way...
When I became a mom being the dependable one was non negotiable. I had to be the rock for my kids, for my partner at the time dealing with substance abuse, and holding it all together at work putting a smile on my face, when inside I was actually falling apart.
My story can be different from yours, and just because I have some dark parts I wouldn’t change anything, because without the dark I would have never seen the light.
I would have never had the courage to step into becoming a single mom, pulling myself together and reshaping my beliefs to thrive in my own motherhood journey, and I want the same for you.
But it doesn't have to stay this way
Maybe you’ve caught yourself:
- Believing that in order to be a loving mom, you need to be like your mom, or that vision of the perfect mom you strive to mirror but that’s simply not true. Perfectionism only fuels guilt and keeps you stuck in the cycle of feeling like you’re not doing enough.
- Believing that in order to be a loving mom, you need to be like your mom, or that vision of the perfect mom you strive to mirror but that’s simply not true. Perfectionism only fuels guilt and keeps you stuck in the cycle of feeling like you’re not doing enough.
- Or maybe you grew up in a home where strength was rewarded, and when you don’t show up as strong you feel like a failure.
Well guess what?
The path to a calmer, more connected motherhood isn’t about meeting everyone else’s expectations. The real shift happens when you create the space you’ve never had for yourself.
Because when you stop striving for perfection and start honoring who you truly are, you’ll realize that being a messy, imperfect, beautiful mom has always been more than enough.
Here’s the thing
It’s time to break free from the overwhelm, mom guilt, and perfectionism so you can create a life that feels aligned, meaningful, and full of joy without sacrificing your true self along the way.
Healing starts with giving yourself permission to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what truly matters.
Strength comes from vulnerability and it’s the only path to healing and growth
You deserve to feel just as strong even when you want a break, even when you want to quit your meal prepping and even when you’re sitting in your driveway for 5 more minutes of alone time. You are still strong, still worthy, still enough.
I’ve been honoured to guide hundreds of women as they learn how to prioritize themselves without guilt, reconnect with their kids in meaningful ways, and embrace their inner power.
