Therapist for Moms in Niagara Falls, St Catharines and surrounding Ontario areas, CA

So you’re a mom and you feel like your past identity is missing?

No one warned you that when you become a mom your time is not your time anymore. It's theirs, and while you love your kids, still you feel like you miss that old part of you that wants to thrive in her career, and the guilt of your multitasking mom life is starting to drown you.

I get it I felt the same way...

When I became a mom being the dependable one was non negotiable. I had to be the rock for my kids, for my partner at the time dealing with substance abuse, and holding it all together at work putting a smile on my face, when inside I was actually falling apart.

My story can be different from yours, and just because I have some dark parts I wouldn't change anything, because without the dark I would have never seen the light.

I would have never had the courage to step into becoming a single mom, pulling myself together and reshaping my beliefs to thrive in my own motherhood journey, and I want the same for you.

But it doesn't have to stay this way

Maybe you’ve caught yourself:

Believing that in order to be a loving mom, you need to be like your mom, or that vision of the perfect mom you strive to mirror but that’s simply not true. Perfectionism only fuels guilt and keeps you stuck in the cycle of feeling like you’re not doing enough.

You may feel  like a bad mom because you’d rather be at work than playing with your kids.

Or maybe you grew up in a home where strength was rewarded, and when you don’t show up as strong you feel like a failure.

Well guess what?

The path to a calmer, more connected motherhood isn’t about meeting everyone else’s expectations. The real shift happens when you create the space you’ve never had—for yourself.

Because when you stop striving for perfection and start honoring who you truly are, you’ll realize that being a messy, imperfect, beautiful mom has always been more than enough.

Here's the thing

It’s time to  break free from the overwhelm, mom guilt, and perfectionism so you can create a life that feels aligned, meaningful, and full of joy—without sacrificing your true self along the way.

Healing starts with giving yourself permission to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what truly matters.

Welcome to your safe space

Hey I'm Sarah Hope therapist for moms in Niagara Falls, St. Catharines and surrounding Ontario areas

I'm a trauma-trained, certified counsellor with over 20 years of experience helping high-achieving moms break free from burnout, guilt, and overwhelm. With hundreds of lives transformed and a deep understanding of the challenges you face, I’m here to help you create a life where calm, connection, and confidence aren’t just ideals—they’re your reality.

Using evidence-based techniques like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Somatic Practices, and Integrative Trauma and Attachment Treatment (ITATM), I’ll guide you through practical, proven steps to reclaim your power and redefine what thriving looks like for you.

I’m here to help you come back to yourself in every part of your life.

Strength comes from vulnerability and it’s the only path to healing and growth

You deserve to feel just as strong even when you want a break, even when you want to quit your meal prepping and even when you’re sitting in your driveway for 5 more minutes of alone time. You are still strong, still worthy, still enough.

I’ve been honored to guide hundreds of women as they learn how to prioritize themselves without guilt, reconnect with their kids in meaningful ways, and embrace their inner power

Sarah changed my life and gave me hope and the support and skill set to follow through on and build a future with purpose, value and loving connections that, 7 years ago when first introduced to her counselling services, I believed impossible.  I would wholeheartedly endorse and recommend Sarah to anyone looking for for support and counsel through any aspect of their life and personal healing and growth.

And on a side note…

Over the weekends you’ll likely catch me on a long drive through the country, singing my heart out to the perfect playlist, or experimenting with new recipes. (I’m a sucker for trying things in the kitchen). I shuffle my daughters to activities and I’m all about finding humour in the chaos—laughing and joking through life’s ups and downs.

It’s time to rediscover your confidence, and build a life where your career, relationships, and connection with your kids can all coexist—guilt-free.
